Our Team
Dr. Nicole Brown is a general pediatrician, health services researcher, and the Chief Health Officer of Strong Children Wellness, a network of primary care practices integrated into trusted community-based organizations that serve children and families. As the founder and Executive Director of Home+Community+Spirit, Dr. Brown leads the organization's work to help vulnerable families achieve greater housing stability and connect them to vital community-based supports. Dr. Brown's work has centered on better understanding the impact of childhood adversity and trauma on childhood neurodevelopmental and behavioral outcomes. She is a graduate of Stanford University School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency training at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She received her MPH at Yale and completed additional fellowship training in health services research in the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholars Program at Yale.
Dr. Suzette Brown is a general pediatrician, health services researcher, and the Chief Operations Officer of Strong Children Wellness, an innovative primary care practice integrated within established community-based organizations in NYC. Dr. Brown is also the co-founder of Home+Community+Spirit, and brings her expertise in community partnerships, integrated care, and social determinants of health to Home+Community+Spirit's vision to help families achieve greater stability. She is a graduate of Brown University's Warren Alpert School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at Duke University Medical Center. She received her MPH at Yale and completed fellowship training in pediatric health services research at Harvard.
